Salary: £130,000 + Package

We are partnering with a high-growth, UK-based FinTech organisation that is transforming the way financial services are delivered through innovative technology and data-driven solutions.
As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Sales Director to lead and scale their UK sales function.
This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic client relationships, and building a high-performing sales team within a fast-paced, competitive market.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Director will take ownership of the UK sales strategy and execution. You will lead from the front, combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to deliver consistent, sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing a clear sales strategy aligned with business objectives
• Leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing sales team
• Driving new business acquisition across financial institutions, lenders, and enterprise clients
• Building and maintaining senior-level client relationships
• Managing complex, high-value sales cycles from prospecting through to close
• Collaborating with marketing, product, and leadership teams to refine go-to-market strategy
• Delivering accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
The Candidate
We are looking for a commercially driven sales leader with a strong track record in FinTech or financial services technology.
You will demonstrate:
• Proven experience in a Sales Director or senior sales leadership role within FinTech, SaaS, or financial services
• A strong record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding targets
• Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
• Deep understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and enterprise clients
• Strong network within the UK financial services sector
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• A data-driven and strategic approach to sales
